The Perspectives on Design Award Show opened with great success on August 2nd. More than a hundred visitors wandered through the gallery, which featured recent work of mine and of fellow Dartmouth grads Emily Pearl and Zeynep Oz. Emily Pearl had several architectural studies inspired by her recent stay in Japan on display. Zeynep’s installation performance, sparked by an unfortunate visa experience with the British government, focused on exclusivity and occupied a full room featuring a bouncer.

I was thrilled to see and meet professors, current students, and graduated students several years older than I, as well as community members, old acquaintances and new acquaintances at the opening. To all who came, I wish to express my sincere appreciation. I hope you enjoy the new work!
